imagining original content since 2023
We create AI films that people actually watch until the end
Our story
zero1cine began as a curated AI film database, grew into a creative studio, and expanded into an international festival.
After nearly 20 years in the creative market, working with global agencies such as R/GA and DDB, founder Odair Faleco started exploring AI filmmaking in 2023 as a new space for creative freedom.
His early experimental films gained traction in AI film festivals, leading to selections, awards, and partnerships with tools such as Runway, Freepik, and others.
That same year, he created zero1cine, the first curated AI movie database, built to showcase the best films made with AI, and connect emerging creators around the world.
In 2024, this mission expanded into the Czech Int. AI Film Festival (CIAIFF) in Prague, created together with the Czech Association of AI and Ydeal.
Today, zero1cine produces end-to-end AI film projects and continues to have its work recognized through festivals, awards, and keynotes across the globe.
